Years ago, I occasionally had Sunday brunch at Mom’s Peppermill restaurant. Apparently, it was originally a hot dog stand catering to construction crews along the New Jersey Turnpike.
The frescoes on the outside of the restaurant were quite conspicuous and probably attracted quite a bit of attention. Even in its dilapidated condition, it is still quite interesting. Recently, the building was demolished.
