Testing out the comments. The gate is very interesting. I like the irregularity of the heights of the two sides.…
Boy, that's an oldie! I used to love that soft ice cream. I think they were still there--with the pizza…

Manasquan Reservoir
The changing levels of the water at the Manasquan Reservoir create unusual areas of dead trees. When the water level is low, I enjoy looking at the stumps that litter the shoreline in places.

Irises
At the center of Dayton, NJ, there is a five-corner intersection. Each year, some effort is undertaken to refresh the plantings in this area as a way to beautify the town. The rose and irises and other planting make a beautiful display.

Cotton Candy
I remember as a kid watching the vendor making cotton candy in his special machine. I found the taste of the cotton candy interesting, but unusual. It gummed up in my mouth.
This photo was taken at the Dakota County Fair in Minnesota. My mother used to work at the VFW hamburger stand each summer. I would walk around the fairgrounds hoping to find a quarter in the grass to fetch another ride in the amusement area.

Veteran’s Memorial (Milltown, NJ)
The helicopter makes this veteran’s memorial anything but routine!

Pumpkins
I was quite fascinated by the perspective of these pumpkins at the Grounds for Sculpture in Hamilton, NJ. They are credited to John Ruppert.
Princeton Chapel
I enjoy visiting the campus of Princeton University, and particularly, Princeton Chapel. The chapel, completed in 1928, was conceived in collegiate Gothic style by architect, Ralph Adams Cram.
The image was corrected for lens distortion (of the vertical columns) and then converted to black & white for aesthetic reasons.
Click on image to view large, because it is more effective that way!
